Here at Attenborough Nature Centre, we offer more than just a meeting room. We offer unbeatable views, open space and an opportunity to make a difference in Nottinghamshire. By booking with us, you are supporting our charitable work across the county caring for dozens of nature reserves, restoring habitats and creating a wilder future.

Conference room

Our beautifully appointed conference room is a bright and fresh space with ample natural light and separate access to the external balcony with stunning views over the main lake. Available as a blank canvas, or set up to meet the requirements of your event, this versatile space works in a variety of formats.

Room layouts and capacity

Please see below for possible seating arrangements. Additional space for breakout sessions may be possible but is not always guaranteed. Please inform us when enquiring about availability if extra space may be needed.

U-Shape

Great for presentation-based meetings with a central focus, while still allowing interaction between participants.

Capacity: up to 20

Boardroom

Best for collaborative meetings or events where interaction between participants is encouraged.

Capacity: up to 24

Theatre

Best for lecture style events or meetings with larger audiences with a minimal need for note-taking.

Capacity: up to 40

Open plan

Without furniture. Best for functions where guests are expected to circulate or move around frequently.

Capacity: up to 60

Hire charges

Our hire charges for 2023-2024 are:

Half day (up to 4 hours)	£195.00 + VAT
Full day (4 to 8 hours)	£295.00 + VAT
Weekend (up to 8 hours)	£200.00 + VAT

Bespoke rates may be negotiable for repeat or block bookings. Please contact us to discuss your requirements to obtain a quote.

Catering

All our food is made fresh on the premises using locally sourced ingredients where possible. We rotate our menus seasonally to take advantage of what produce is most widely available. Our cakes and sweet treats are supplied by two independent, local businesses – The Beeston Brownie Company and Homemade Café.

We can cater for most dietary and allergy needs. All of our menus include a range of meat, vegetarian and vegan options unless otherwise requested. Alternative milks are included as standard with our refreshments at no extra charge. Please get in touch if you have any questions or to inform us of any specific requirements/requests.
