About the event

Setting off from Retford at 7.30am to arrive before 9.00am at Frampton. Car parking and entry is free to RSPB members. A great reserve any time of the year but wintering birds are expected. Bring sufficient food, drink, and clothing to suit the weather. Expect to be at Frampton for around 4-5 hours but if you want to leave early you are fine to do that. Please let me know if you are going on this trip so I know who is expected to arrive at Frampton.

Please text a message if you are participating in one of the walks so I know to wait if anyone is running late. We do have a WhatsApp group for these walks, I just need a mobile contact number to add anyone to it.

Gary himself was a founding member of local group, Lound Bird Club, is currently a volunteer for NWT at the Idle Valley NR and committee member of the NWT North Nottinghamshire Local Group and was the former BTO Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS) co-ordinator for Nottinghamshire for a period of 10 years.
