Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust Joins Len Goodman and Kara Tointon For Remember A Charity Week
Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is one of over 200 charities taking part in Remember A Charity Week around the UK and is urging their members and supporters to pass on something wonderful by leaving a gift in their Will, after they’ve taken care of friends and family. Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust will be supporting the week by sharing the fantastic support from local Solicitors who are providing discounted Will writing offers all year round. The amazing work of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust has been made possible by gifts in Wills, with over £100,000 donated through Wills over the past year.
In addition to Len and Kara’s involvement, Remember A Charity Week will also see the launch of a heart-warming campaign inspired by 1970s favourites, The Wombles. The animated film shines a light on the importance of charities work, inspiring people to consider including their favourite charity in their Will. UK charities will also be spreading the word on the importance of gifts in Wills across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter throughout #RememberACharityWeek.
We are delighted to be part of this year’s Remember A Charity Week, encouraging our supporters to pass on something wonderful to the next generation. Gifts in Wills are crucial to our charity’s work – both now and long into the future. Gifts left in Will could help us to create a wilder Nottinghamshire by supporting the recovery of nature for years to come.Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust
Len Goodman commented: “This is my third year supporting Remember A Charity Week and I’ve had the chance to meet some of the fantastic people working hard for charitable causes. I’ve included a charitable gift in my Will after my family has been taken care of – it’s such a simple, easy thing to do that makes an enormous difference. Hopefully this week will inspire more people to do the same – just think what we could achieve if we all made that small change to our Will!”
Rob Cope, Director of Remember A Charity, added: “Remember A Charity Week has grown year-on-year and I’m immensely proud that the 200-strong consortium is coming together to celebrate in these challenging times. This week offers a fantastic opportunity for charities to inspire their supporters to consider a cause they care deeply about in their Will and raise awareness of how this contributes to their vital work. Without this income, many charities simply would not exist and others would be forced to cut the crucial services so many of us rely on.”
