With lovebirds across the county set to spend Valentine’s Day at home this year, Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s trading team, which runs centre’s at the charity’s popular Attenborough and Idle Valley Nature Reserves, have put together a range of home delivered meal deals to make preparing for a lockdown love-in as easy as pie!
To take the stress out of your Valentines meal, the team will deliver a range of tasty, locally produced and luxurious main dishes, desserts and fine wines - drawn from the charity’s Farm Shop range - direct to your door. All you have to do is plate up the food, pop it in the oven and pour yourself a glass of something special.
With three options, including a lighter meal and a wholly vegan offering, the Wildlife Trust team is hoping to spread a little love – whilst giving people the opportunity to support its work around the county.
Speaking about the Valentine’s offer, Catering Manager James Jaques said: “Like many businesses we’ve had to adapt and be flexible during the lockdowns and the launch of our Farm Shop range in the summer has opened up a range of new possibilities for us to generate funds to support the Trust’s wildlife conservation work by offering new services to our customers and supporters.”
The meal deals feature popular products from the Farm Shop range stocked at the Attenborough Nature Centre including ‘Brockleby’ Pies, ‘Original Baker’ quiches, fine English wines, local Starkey fruit juices and a choice of indulgent puds. So, if you still haven sorted your Valentine’s plans you could be just a couple of clicks away from tucking into a romantic meal featuring local, award-winning and artisan produce in the comfort of your own home.
