Parking at Attenborough Nature Reserve
New flexible car parking tariff
Flexible tariff rates (from 25th March 2024):
Up to 30 Minutes – free
Up to 2 hours - £3.00
Up to 4 hours - £4.00
Over 4 hours/all day - £5.00
With increased costs across all areas of our work, we have decided to change the tariffs for parking at Attenborough Nature Reserve for the first time since compulsory charges were introduced in 2021.
Parking charges are an important sustainable income stream for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, but rather than increase our flat rate, we’ve worked with our car park partner, Park with Ease, to create a new flexible tariff which should mean that most visitors will pay no more than they do currently.
Registered Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust members, staff and regular Attenborough Nature Reserve volunteers will continue to be exempt from parking charges. People who’ve already registered vehicles with us for exemptions need take no action.
These charges will apply 24/7, 365 days a year, including bank holidays and outside of the visitor centre’s opening hours.
Members parking
We are no longer issuing car park permits. Our membership schemes include parking at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Please see our membership options for more information.
Existing members of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, registered volunteers based at Attenborough and staff are eligible for free parking. Please register your vehicles to avoid penalty charges or inform us of any changes to the vehicles you're using.
Please note, you do not qualify for free parking if you are a member of another Trust.
