Introducing...
We have one new Trustee to introduce for election.

Andy Wilkinson
Hi - my name is Andy Wilkinson, I grew up on a small farm near Bingham in Nottinghamshire and have always had a passion for nature and wildlife.
I am a qualified accountant and spent 28 years at Boots, primarily in the Boots International side of the business. During that time, I spent 8 years as Finance and IT Director, had spells in Supply Chain, Business Development and led a systems implementation as well as an 18 month period as interim Managing Director. Following my time at Boots, I spent nearly 8 years as Director of Finance at Topps Tiles in Leicester, including 11 months as interim CFO.
I left full-time employment at the end of 2022 and have spent some time volunteering for Oxfam as a steward at music festivals, and am currently the Trustee Treasurer for Nottingham Mencap.
Outside of work I love nothing more than a walk in the countryside, be it by a canal or river, woodland or open countryside. I find the mental health benefits of being surrounded by nature incredibly powerful. Whilst on the farm many decades ago there seemed to be a well understood linkage between human actions and the impact on nature. However, having spent many years living in the city of Nottingham I am saddened at how little connection there seems to be between our actions and the dramatic impact we have on nature and the habitats of wildlife. I would love to be able to play a small part in helping that balance with nature.
I have two grown up children and, as well as my love of walking, I enjoy live music and most sports.
Up for re-election

Members only events
Ahead of our 61st AGM on Wednesday November 6th, Members are invited to join one of our exclusive behind the scenes site visits on Saturday November 2nd to offer you the chance to find our more about the exciting work that your membership is supporting - helping the Trust deliver a wilder Nottinghamshire for all.
With so many wonderful nature reserves and exciting projects being delivered across the county its been difficult to narrow the options down but we feel we've chosen three locations that highlight the impact of our efforts to create more space for wildlife, connect people with nature and inspire more people to take action.
NB This programme is subject to change and events will only proceed subject to sufficient demand. If your preferred session is fully booked, please consider an alternative session or join the waiting list as we hope to add more time slots if demand is high.
