About the event

Are you unsure about how to get funding and rally volunteers? Come join Steve from Oasis Community Centre to learn how he developed his successful community garden from scratch. You’ll hear first-hand experience of what it’s like from a grassroots level. You’ll meet others in similar situations and brainstorm ideas together.

Harri Phillips and Camille McCawley from Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust will share a variety of ways in which you can recruit volunteers, including how to target specific audiences while considering appropriate opportunities for them.

They will also share details of the Wilder Nottinghamshire Network and how you can get continued support from NWT after this workshop.
