About the event

Meeting at Attenborough Nature Centre, you'll begin this evening session with a short introductory talk about bats. We'll cover all the basics before moving on to what bats you might expect to see later on the evening and learning how to use a bat detector to locate them. The majority of the evening will be spent out on the reserve where our experienced guides will help you to identify up to 5 different species of bats. Light refreshments are provided at the centre. Please dress appropriately for the weather and feel free to bring along your own bat detector if you have one.
