About the event

Nature Spotting events are a monthly volunteer-led informal and friendly walk, where you can meet like-minded people. None of us are experts, but we share our knowledge and love for nature. Each month is a different theme.

This month's walk will start and ends in our Nature Centre Garden, which you can access through the main entrance of the Nature Centre, going through the shop and cafe, down the corridor and through the door at the back. The garden will be closed to the public for this event so you have the full immersive uninterrupted experience.

The Nature Centre and it's garden are accessible, with flat paths, floors and ramp down into the garden. The Nature Centre also has an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. We also have an accessible sandmartin bird hide in the garden. The walk starts at 10am, so arrive by 9.45am to get parked and use the facilities if required. We aim to be finished by 11.15am and you are welcome to join us for a drink in the cafe together afterwards.

Spaces are limited, so please let us know if you can't make it as we will likely have a waiting list.
