What is the Dawn Chorus?
The dawn chorus is one of the UK’s most spectacular natural events, as birds welcome the arrival of spring with a symphony of song.
🎶 Why do birds sing at dawn?
Mating & Territory – Male birds sing to attract a mate and defend their territory.
A Competition of Song – Think of it as Britain’s Got Talent for birds—without the jugglers! The best singers stand out and show their strength.
While some birds sing throughout the day, dawn is when they all come together for an unforgettable performance. If it’s your first dawn chorus experience, just sit back, listen, and let the natural symphony wash over you.
Join us for this incredible wildlife experience—a true celebration of spring and a chance to connect with nature in a magical way!
