This small meadow supports botanically-rich limestone grassland, which is notable for an abundance of meadow saxifrage (Saxifraga granulata), a species that occurs in only a handful of sites in Nottinghamshire.

Know before you go

Access

The western edge of the reserve at SK 450453 is unfenced.  From this point pedestrians can pass through the site following a public footpath eastwards, and then north-eastwards.  The remainder of the reserve is fenced off and closed to the public.
